In this video, I go over Dynamic DNS configuration on a SonicWALL. Dynamic DNS is useful for those situations where a SonicWALL is connected to an ISP connection that does not provide a static IP. Using the DNS name, you can use it for remote VPN access, remote management, port forwarding a DVR or other device, or even a site-to-site VPN (although I don’t recommend it).
