How switchport port-security violate the Host according to its Mac-address and Sticky command in the configuration. it needs step by step – first: assign to Switchport mode access, second: Swithport port-security, Third: switchport port-security mac-address sticky, Fourth: Switchport port-security mac-address sticky (the mac-address you want to stick into the port of switch). Finally, you can configure the violation. Keep in mind : The default violation is: switchport port-security violation shutdown
