Matter, Voice Interoperability Initiative, and Alexa Live | where is the Open Voice Network?

The closing of Alexa Live was fascinating in what it covered and how it covered it, electing to discuss feel-good topics such as interoperability and open standards while inviting cynicism many feel toward big tech, in an increasingly hostile domestic environment toward behemoths like Amazon.
After researching Matter and the Connectivity Standards Alliance, seems like a valid and worthwhile partnership and initiative, and eager to learn more over time about how these interlocking relationships will serve the interests of those working with voice and AI.
But notably absent from this video and conversation is the Open Voice Network, with which Amazon needs to take the time to cultivate a positive and supportive relationship as well.
