How to Advertise IPv6 Prefix to Internet – a Primer (Demo on Cisco IOS)

The following video series shows how to advertise IPv6 prefixes to the Internet using BGP. We provide configuration details for some vendors – Cisco, Huawei and Juniper.

Cisco – https://youtu.be/OKlXPFU-Rns
Huawei – https://youtu.be/sekoGcWNaEY
Juniper – https://youtu.be/MZdf7r1lDi4

Through this, our goal is to help our network engineers get started by providing a step-by-step guideline with commands to use in a simple topology that you can follow along.

Please note that to avoid complex example, some common practices for network operators has not been applied on this video, and shall be explained in future ones. For real-life deployments, we would recommend that the prefixes be generated at the network core, before advertising it at the network border.
