Linux Mint VS Ubuntu | Which is right for you?

Linux Mint and Ubuntu are both well-known Linux distributions, each with its own strengths and characteristics. Choosing between them can be a tough decision, but fear not! We’re here to break it down for you.
If you prioritize ease of use and a familiar interface, Linux Mint’s user-friendly approach might be the way to go. On the other hand, if you prefer a wider range of software support and a larger community, Ubuntu might be the better choice.

  • ubuntu has bloatware and tracking, Its based on Debian and Mint is based on Ubuntu, Mint has better performance and a friendly community, Mint is far superior than uwuntu

  • From what I've seen everyone says ubuntu is not great anymore. And mint is supposedly the best for the average person?

  • Why does it sound like the script is return by ChatGPT

  • Индус? Отвратительный акцент

  • Also, how can you say Ubuntu is user friendly anymore? 95 percent of new Linux users are coming from a Windows background. I have converted my entire family and a lot of my customers over the years to Linux. If I show them Ubuntu with Gnome as the DE, they hate it and have a hard time finding anything. As soon as I put them in front of Linux mint , they automatically know how and where to find everything because it is familiar AND user friendly.

  • Mint is based on Ubuntu, 100% of all Ubuntu support, software, suggestions, how-to's and so on, work on Mint. Literally everything that works on Ubuntu works on Mint. So how does Ubuntu have a wider range of software support?

  • What do you mean by "wider range of software support"?
As you said, mint is based on ubuntu!
