Ubuntu upset? Tell gnome to stop with their political bullshit. The gnome team can't even have a username without their cultist emojis.
Just a reminder nick… You did the same thing with your comment about Ukraine and Yandex in one of your videos. Your comment about Twitter in this video is hilarious. It sounds like you hate free speech.
Since the redign of Thunderbird was launched I am unable to use Thunderbird. Sigh.
Windows devs making Win11/12: we hate our users and wan't to make their experience as bad and broken as we can.
Linux devs removing X11 support even though Wayland still breaks everything: hold our beers.
I had a few cases where x11 just worked (no, not worked better, just worked). Back to KDE then.
I'm hoping the upcoming Nvidia 545 driver will fix enough Wayland-related bugs. Wayland works on Nvidia, but it's been rough and glitchy at times. Also, if Gnome and distros could get their default config to work better with Wayland out of the box on Nvidia, that would help a lot. Currently, there are a lot of manual config steps to get it working right.
Thunderbird is stable over time, plus you can drop / archieve old emails in a folder, if you need them again use Thunderbird to view them. The customization is awesome, multiple account, Multiple calendars its got it all. Removing X11 means no supports for older apps, its sad but they have to move on sometime.
RIP x11. I didn't like it anyway, it had a lot of screen tearing on my media PC, which drove me from Linux Mint to Fedora…..Wayland rocks!
Wayland creates a lot of problems in Ubuntu for screen sharing, I could never solve it so still X11 user here, I hope they fix those issues
Me: Gee, I wonder how GNOME is doing?
GNOME: Drops X11, fails to roll-out libcue patch, breaks screencast, hires shaman.
Me:
You talk about an increase in Mastodon monthly active users, it's only fair you compare it with Twitter monthly active users. You know, apple to apple comparison. While the CEO Linda Yaccarino recently announced Twitter daily active users has indeed declined, she also said that monthly active users are up from 541M in July to 550M. The "slow decline" is relative.
9:30 goddammit just use qt! it's not even hard to write and it's multi platform.
Saturated Steam Deck Market means a used Deck a bit cheaper for me 🎉
Glad to hear mastodon is more popular than thought
which distro are you currently using? and can you reply with your hardware specs
I just want to install rockstar launcher on nobara linux
what happened with Odysee?
I hope you are making video about voyager 23.10 and other new distros that not famous enough.
Anydesk does not work with Wayland 😐 VNC, RDP and anydesk work fairly well with X11 xorg
I like that the cat is part of the Tuxedo spot – well done!
Tried gaming in wayland, it’s just not the same. There are some latency issues i had to pretty much reconfigure my mouse DPI, some games also appear to stutter a few milliseconds when changing view/environment.
