Russell will be presenting “Software-Defined Networking and Asterisk at AstriCon 2015.

The infrastructure used to run communications applications that include Asterisk is changing rapidly. Part of that transformation is software-defined networking. The networking control plane is being decoupled from the data plane. Your application can define its own network topology without needing to change the underlying network infrastructure.

His talk will look at SDN with OpenStack, and what possibilities that opens up for the deployment of communications applications using Asterisk.
