  • Sooo who's money is on the Fuel being the issue …. 91octane being the best i could get out here.. Perhaps a stupid mistake

  • bmw not only beat you , audi fall aparat chasing him. Such a trash of car. BMW ALL THE WAY

  • Devistated for you guys all that hard work and you didnt manage to make it

  • My guess is that your PCV valve has gone bad. I'm not sure on this engine, but on the super charged V6 the oil and coolant both pass through separate channels on the PCV valve. These have a tendency to fail, thus causing the oil and coolant to mix.

  • You could always send the engine to Eric @I_Do_Cars to tear down and discover the problem.

  • It is now after Sema. I saw Freddie and his P1, and we saw Dave from DDE at Sema… didnt see Mat or the RS6. 😢

  • 18:30 Engine locked up from mechanical blockage. Piston/rod is probably caught between the crank and the wall of the engine block. Alternatively the chain could have snapped and pinned up inside. Ive seen this happen too, generally when the engine is being put through hell…. Might be something to look at. Start with the timing cover… Then if nothing there, The heads need to come off. Or you could just pre-emptively pull the engine… Its going to need to come out anyway you slice it. Just drop it and the transmission along with the subframe to hold it together all at once.

  • 16:55 Maybe not "that bad at all" to the untrained Eye, but even from here, I can tell the gap has been closed. Its almost touching…

  • This is just karma I’m afraid – Mat, you sound like a great guy but selling 500k of tickets for a broken (repaired) BMW 5 series and then pretending you didn’t still doesn’t sit well! …………
You tuned the car, you then ignored a BMW recall and then raced the car. If I did the same thing, people would have little sympathy, so why should I extend the same sympathies to you. You will no doubt sort it with a (YouTube funded) smile on your face

  • 4 – 2019 7600 miles… , 8 – 2020 it went up like 13,000 miles…. Thats a MAJOR red flag to me. Maybe not to someone who pisses money away, but that would be a major red flag for me before I bought a car. Average person does Half this, maybe even less. Another possible red flag is the mileage not moving. 2017 – 2019 it only did… 2-3,000 miles? Now if it were something like a McLaren yeah this makes sense, but its a station wagon. Something people tend to use daily..

  • Your fault mate, should have changed the map, or put a bit of E85 in there, really simple things this

  • After watching DDE's Gumball runs, you need to keep this in Freddy's shop until the next event. The RS6 would be epic!!

  • I hope you enjoyed LA, it’s so much fun and the car culture is beautiful

  • Well, the RS6 runs with water to air inter-cooler which is located in the intake manifold, I heard that it was some sort of a problem, the inter cooler cracks so the coolant is getting in the engine, definitely have a look on that.

  • how much did it cost to ship a car in a container from UK to USA by boat ? and how long did it take ?

  • I think you will be needing a new starter, the smoke from the engine will probably be the starter burning op while it keeps trying to start a engine that is not turning
