It tells me
sudo: ifconfig: command not found
What should I do
Use the Wi-Fi button on the computer at the top somewhere to turn it on and off you don't need command prompt. Besides computers without the hardware can't run the software for Wi-Fi.
Thanks for the content. It is very useful to me. May I suggest that next time, you get a little closer to the microphone. Thanks again.
Actually the follow command works appropriately:
nmcli radio wifi off
nmcli radio wifi on

hey when I type "sudo iwconfig wlan0 up"
it's showing that unknown command "up"…
what to do
After typing sudo ifconfig wlan0 up, It says operation not possible due to RF-kill…
just go to wifi symbol remove tick from enable wifi
Cheers to you too mate
Utterly useless video, no explanation each command does
i have a Toshiba L755 i tried every fix but the only thing it worked for me is this one:
I had to remove the battery and disconnect the charger, press the power
button for at least thirty seconds, put it all back together and boot
into bios. From there I had to restore system defaults, save changes,
and presto, wireless is working again.
I dislike how quiet this guy is in the video he needs to yell scream or something to be heard without turning up the volume
When I type sudo ifconfig wlan0 up I get SIOCSIFFLAGS: Input/output error
