  • I love hearing all of you chat about history, and Vince's humor and jokes – I simply love it!

  • Such a great session, maybe extra credit would be Amy Grant walking in to join in. Big fan of your channel Tom!

  • I think Walsh, Baum, and Duesenberg Guitars are pretty sweet looking too.

  • A while back you mention that the guitar shop you owned sold good guitars that weren’t vintage but were in a price range that broke musician could afford. Could you see your way to doing an episode like that? I am not doubting the special sound and feel of a $200,000 guitar but at the end of the day all guitars are two pieces of wood and six pieces of wire. There must be some good sounding ones that don’t require a second mortgage to buy.

  • Absolutely fantastic . If you are a guitar lover, this is the stuff your dreams are made of. Thank you Tom for gettin' us inside that wonderful place where time seems to stop. Vince is one of my true heroes and having him in the show is just phenomenal. What a down to earth genuine and funny gentleman he is. The guys workin' at the shop are excellent and then you have the one and only George Gruhn, you can learn more about guitar with him in half an hour than in one month in the University. Thank you Uncle Larry, much much love from West Spain 🙂

  • Gruhn in the weeds is sage wisdom!!

  • It’s funny that “The Strat” was mentioned. I thought those sounded pretty decent, but they weighed a metric ton. A few of the Norlins were pretty good. But not many.
The best guitar I have ever had in my 59 years is a 52 ES-5. However you had to play it frequently to operate the 3 volumes.

  • This is gold! George with the tangents and Vince with the one liners lol

  • If Churchill and his cabinet were in Nashville and they were talented guitarists, luthiers and wise asses it might look like this.

  • Thoroughly enjoyed this video. As a long time guitar player, it answered questions to quite a bit of topics I've thought about in the past.
