• I wish that the portal was linked with your ps5 and if they could add support ps4 so if you get a game on the ps5 and download it then the portal would just take a 5 min to transfer it.Any progress you do on the portal os ps would go to the ps or portal.The portal could run its own software it could be like the ps5 software but adds things that people would need for a handheld.Offline support is another thing I have in mind some games on the portal will have a wifi signal but with a cross meaning WiFi free so you can play a game offline but you can’t play it online.Lasty being able to use it like it’s own console but hear me out it’s not what you think I mean by that is someone is using the ps5 that the portal is using as long as the ps5 has another account the other person can use it to join the same game as their freind.Five likes and I will make a vid about it (hopefully)

• So basically you paying for an extra screen to play on around your house when the TV is in use. Sad song, very sad.

• interesting i have a ps5 and use an edge controller I agree a future version may be interesting……. I still play my PSVita sometimes if i'm traveling lol.

• Sony had the right idea just for me by looking at the reviews its a unfinished product. Id be happy to buy it if they were to fix the current one or release a new one next year with improvements disc drive for cds easy WiFi connection option to digitally download games. Option to change controller buttons and colour. I don't want to spend $200 dollars just to play video games outside my back yard. I want to take it with me on my journeys like work being in hotel for holidays bus train taxi maybe a plane if possible. Also to be able to transfer pictures of game play to laptop tablet just like being able to transfer video off your phone to tv.

• These days 4g is absolute trash, i dont really know why besides 5g existing but once my Pixel 6 goes to LTE is hardly usable for certain things so i get it not working in that scenario.

• Thanks for the review and helping me make the choice of whether to buy or not. I think stick with my Backbone for now.

• I am a few states away for thanksgiving. Ps5 is wired / lan says 1gb down 20mbps up. My wifi out of town says 200mbps down 20mbps up. It's lagging and is unplayable. Rocket league / pubg are not playable. The two games I play. Gonna sell it when I get home and order the oled steamdeck.

• If you don’t have good WiFi at the place away from home then you will be playing on a fuzzy potato … the WiFi from both home and away has to be top knot h if you want a great experience .even off line single player games will be fuzzy I’m quite not satisfied and want a refund . Gonna call PlayStation just for them too say we can’t do it . Most places won’t have this high tech WiFi you have at home. My WiFi is great at home games are crystal clear at home most places I went away from home had the game so fuzzy and glitchy it’s not a great experience at all

• Yeah ive found with the 4G it doesnt work as well but when i have 5G i can get it to work fairly well sometimes!

• I'm in the Philippines now using mines.

• The not having a browser is not a problem! I recently stayed in a hotel and my ps5 walked me through the process step by step worked right away, the just of it you connect your phone/laptop to the ps5 wifi signal and then pick the hotel wifi it will take you to sign in page and then when you sign in the ps5 is hooked up aswell. So I assume the portal would have same option since there is no browser.

• At bare bare bare minium it needs to have web browser capabilities. Usually when you use public wifi they have you connect to it via web browser. Hopefully they can implement one with a software update

• You can not remote play with a psp 😂

• This just seems like it runs like how cloud gaming works on my xbox app (mobile). I connect a controller to my phone.

• You can literally buy a backbone for your iPhone and it works over mobile data and it’s literally 99$ instead of 200
