Good afternoon, Alasdair from a Cloudy but very warm ( 33c) Cairns. Wonderful positive podcast once again. Totally agree about the doomsday so-called supporters on social media. To have a full 1st team on the injury / suspension list would affect any team, even Pep's Man.City. I still believe we will have a positive season. If we get through December and January fairly unscathed, we could do well. Hoping for good results to come. COYS.

I don't usually comment twice, but I just read the news about Bentancur now being out for about 10 weeks with ankle ligament damage, that must be devastating for him and the team. Anyhow, in the AFL we have a thing called the match review panel that reviews and scrutinizes each game to look at incidents and free kicks etc that the umpires made or may have missed during games and they have the power to then suspend players or send them to a tribunal hearing that often results in those players getting fined or suspended. It's a pity the EPL don't have a similar system because if they did then players that did what Cash did, and also the elbow in the face of Gill incident could be reviewed and those offending players could receive upgraded punishments to what they may have received during the game, or in the case of the elbow incident a ban for what was missed by the referee at the time. And one of the most important things the tribunal takes into consideration is the extent of any injury that is inflicted by those offending players, so in the case of Cash he would almost certainly receive match bans considering Bentancur's injury. Just my thoughts. Cheers.

Entertaining football – some great moves at times. Given the three first choice midfielders were out and the two central defenders, many positives. But …we have to take our chances!!! We only conceaded the first goal because we lost our rhythm and started passing it backwards. You can sense the goal coming. Just keep the same rhythm going ange, youre brilliant

I do wish that those who publicly comment/write about the game take some time to learn more about it. EG we played without any def mids. Bentancur is a def mid (yes he can also play as an 8 ) because he is a brilliant player. Losing him was the turning point as we lost control and could not progress the ball from deep as effectively. Overall in all circumstances we are on track!!
Tottenham need to take civil & Legal action against Matty Cash. Sec 20 GBH criteria is met. Bentacur our for another 3 months. SCANDALOUS
I see your thinking joe Rodon has a recall clause unfortunately that is incorrect phill hay who’s been a Leeds correspondent nor for around 20 years has reported that there is no January recall clause and Daniel farke was asked this question in his press conference and he also said Rodon has no recall clause
I was there and noticed that not many left early. I was thoroughly entertained and felt we deserved at least a draw. There is no comparison to some of the defeats I witnessed last season. I agree Ali, they played really well!

Hi. Another great overview of the game and Gill was 100% elbowed, stonewall penalty. VAR not working should have caused the game to be delayed for VAR to be sorted. If we are going to have VAR then it has to be for 100% of the game.
