How To Install Waydroid on Ubuntu! (Run Android Apps on Linux)
Waydroid – A container-based approach to boot a full Android system on a regular GNU/Linux system like Ubuntu.In this video i will show you installing waydroid to run android applications in ubuntu Linux. Waydroid uses Linux namespaces (user, pid, uts, net, mount, ipc) to run a full Android system in a container and provide Android applications on any GNU/Linux-based platform (arm, arm64, x86, x86_64). The Android system inside the container has direct access to needed hardware through LXC and the binder interface.

Why Google has restricted itself to Mobile Platform widely. I know Chrome Books are launched but they are not powerfully accelerated in terms of hardware. You do not see NVDIA and AMD supporting Android OS natively yet.

It seems the Vanilla (125 MB) option is much smaller than GAPPS (mine is an entire 855.73 MB). let me try installing vanilla then I could sideload the Google apps. Thanks for the detailed video
