How to login into any router?

To login into any router you must know its ip address first. Now if you are login into your router for the very first time that means it is not setup yet. Then you can access it by typing the default router’s ip address into the url of the browser.

But in case if your router is already setup and working then you will have to login into your router with the ip provided by your isp. In this video we have provided you information about how to find your routers ip address and then login into it.

You can fid your router’s ip with the help of netgear genie. Download and install it and then go to attached devices. The device at the centre of the map is your router. Once you click on it it will show you an ip address. You can type that ip into the url of your browser and login into the router.

If you dont want to download the software then for windows operating system press “windows” + “R” on the keyboard. Then type “cmd” in the run box. Now on the black screen type “ipconfig”. The ip address that comes beside the default gateway is your routers ip address.

Now in case you own a mac system then goto system preferences, then click on networks next. Then go to advance option and then click on TCP/IP tab. There beside router you will find your router’s ip address. You simply just need to type it in the url or address to access your routers management page.
