  • How good does this minecraft server preform with up to 50 players?

  • Personally I would recommend 8th gen i3 and up nowdays, it's not worth buying anything lower from performance/wat standpoint

  • Awesome video, I have 2 questions though, does this put stress on your network and are you able to do mods on this?

  • Do i need to sacrifice a pc for this?

  • My only issue is paying for the electricity for a constantly running server, and the fact playit cost for a custom domain, obviously the electricity is just gonna be a think anyway, but is there another service or something that allows for custom domains?

  • Thanks you for this video. I have watched a ton of videos on getting a MC Server and they all revolve around Java only. I know you didn't go over Bedrock, but I would assume the setup is similar after the Crafty install. You mentioned not to do one on a Pi, but that's what I have and it'll only ever be 2-3 players max at any one time. I have one up and running on it now, but it was painful to get going using Docker and Portainer. I might just scrub that and setup one on Casa like you did. From what I see there wouldn't be much different than what you did using a Pi4B 4GB. Do you know of any differences if I was using a Pi?

    Thanks

  • he got 16+ Vews from me on his last server video now he's geting more on this one

  • My crafty dashboard is telling me “We can’t seem to find your executable file. Has it finished downloading? Are the permissions set to executable?” What should I do?

  • I’m planning to buy a HP elite book, but from what I learned from the internet that HP enables some password so you can’t unlock or turnoff secure boot. My primary goal with the system would be to install Proxmox and playing around different Linux distros. Can anyone tell me if this is going to cause any issues? Or I should buy some other vendor PC like Dell or Lenovo?

  • I used to be able to run my own Minecraft server using this exact method, but sadly now I can't because I have Starlink and it has a TON of latency. 😥

  • Hi, managed to set it up inside a HyperV VM, friends are experiencing quite some response time, my hypervisor is getting internet through a CPL and a netgear hub, would moving the installation next side to the router will solve it or is it the bridging with hyperv's virtual switch that fucks it up according to you hardware gang ?

  • If the computer where the server is located abruptly shut down due to thunder or because we want to move it somewhere else. Will it work as intended after restarting the server-computer ?

  • Hi i have a question. So whenever i use the command to install casa os it says “curl not found” or something like that but i have curl installed please help

  • Disable Secure boot is pretty bonkers these days even for *nix installations as many support secure boot. But if not booting from USB then you are probably forced to disable secure boot.

  • Is there a search for the CASAOS Files app? I finding a lack of search on everything.

  • Howdy! I tried to start the server lik you showed, pulled the trick with creating a new folder, but when I try to start the server the crafty command line says "Unsupported Java detected (61.0). Only up to Java 16 is supported." You know how to fix this ? Appreciate in advance!

  • New dew (hair cut) looks great. This was very easy to follow and interesting.

  • Is there a safe way to do this on a virtual machine?

  • casaos has a blank log and i can't remote in

  • For our main minecraft ..For our main minecraftserver …;. lol 31:13 you have double audio

  • DHCP Reserve Leases are always a good option. Same with Static IPs and if you static IP it make sure its outside the DHCP scope of your router.

  • im ill come out as ignorant but i like running my Minecraft servers classic way just java and screen

  • solely for games servers it's better to use pterodactyl, which is really easy with pterodactyl install script and it's got more features so yea
