  • The white color and the removal of the micro sd slot killed it for me. Guess BN needs to start paying more attention to what their customer want. Thank you for the review made my mind up. Sticking with my Simple touch with glow-light. Till they come out with something worth upgrading too.

  • I have the new nook glow light how do I turn it on. I don't see it at bottom

  • I've been so torn on this vs PaperWhite, and the removal of SD card is a huge bummer that mean I have to track down the cable to sideload anything. BUT in the end I think I'll get this – WHY? Because I like having a brick & mortar bookstore to bring my family to. Borders is much missed, BN is all we have left. I may love the cheap content on Amazon but as consumers we have to do SOMETHING to support the physical places we love to visit before they're all gone.

  • ugh. Love my pre-backlight simple touch. Why go all MacPortable by limiting it so much with no SD slot?  Why remove the page turning buttons.  What a step backwards. Too bad Kindle doesn't do epub 🙁

  • Not unless it's a slip cover or sleeve type cover. The overall shape and size is the same, but the new one is thinner and doesn't have the same cover connectors.

  • Thanks for doing this, i have the simple touch and i guess waiting for the next glowlight is worth it, i dunno about not having an SD card slot esp when I wanted to buy lots of book, i wonder how many books this one can handle
