This review & benchmark looks at the NVIDIA RTX 4070 Ti Super graphics card that just launched. This also fully refreshes our dataset for 2024 video card benchmark charts, with the exception of the RTX 4060 that we’re running through now to join the upcoming AMD RX 7600 XT GPU review for its launch. The RTX 4070 Ti Super gets the most direct comparisons vs. the RTX 4070 Ti and RTX 4070 Super, but the 4070 Ti (original) will be discontinued. The next GPU launch from NVIDIA is the RTX 4080 Super, which we suspect will be the most interesting for most people. As for AMD alternatives, the AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT remains the most price competitive in the class of the 4070 Ti Super (which has an MSRP of $800). Tests will look at power efficiency, ray tracing (we just added Cyberpunk!), and standard rasterized gaming benchmarks. Resolutions include 1080p, 1440p, and 4K.

  • Watch the AMD RX 7600 XT review here! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1aopp8XolXE
JUST finished rendering and uploading. Latency comes back for the 4080 Super — so that'll have our new power efficiency testing, latency, and Cyberpunk (this one re-introduced Cyberpunk). We'll try and get Alan Wake 2 added soon as well! What other games do you want to see? We're replacing some of the tests with new ones. • what a shit show this is 4060 ti for 400 plus 4070 549 4070ti 599 4070 super 699 how you going get price drop on anything you cant they fixed prices now then you have ebay guys tring sale used 4060 for 400 plus then old cards like 3070 going for 400 used

  • my vega 64 died last week, so i finally have to buy a new gpu, even if the market prices are still crazy.
so i ordered a 4070 ti super, because i need at least 16gb vram, cuda and want to play total war warhammer 3 in 4k.
happy me, because i get at least a "meh" gpu and one of the last episodes of gamers nexus, that seems to include total war warhammer 3 benchmark data.
thanks for all the good work 🙂

  • Maybe for GPU efficiency you could scale by 1000 for some bigger better numbers. It would put numbers more in line with CPU efficiency. I guess it would technically be FPS per milliwatt.

  • I always love these reviews. But I miss the OG 4070 in the comparions and also it's a shame that there's an NVIDIA FE 4070 Super but then an ASUS TUF 4070 TI Super comparison. So it's not all NVIDIA or all ASUS. I don't know how much difference it makes, but I'd appreciate a complete apples to apples comparison.

  • I'll stick with my 3080ti because for £750, it's just not worth getting the extra 15 to 20 fps at 4k. I get around 70 FPS at 4k with my GeForce 3080ti, or around 110 or more if opt for 2k. What is the point of updating my card for the price it would cost? I'll update when these cards don't cost the earth to get 4k at 120 fps on high settings. I'll stick to 2k until that happens.

  • Fps per watt is so important! Glad to see it added and hoping it becomes a talking point with every review. In fact it would be cool to see a video on the current and last gen cards that represent the best value in efficiency at 1080p and 1440p (because that efficiency = $ savings)

  • Can you add some benchmarks for compute?

I recently impulse bought a 6700xt and upped my gaming to 1440, in the games i play I've been getting 30-60 fps so i saw a 7800xt sub $500 I figured I'd upgrade. Almost bought it without doing any research because "bigger number better" I believe it would game better but I also have A.I. workloads to run and after a little research a far better choice would be the 6800XT. Honestly for the type of GPU compute i do I've found that the best result per cost of the card is the Vega 56. It's slightly slower then my 6700 and uses more power (225 watts vs 183 and is around 6% slower) but I can pick them up for around $100 vs $300 for a 6700.

Nvidia cards for the price vs performance they offer are just off the table. For example the 4060 at the $300 price point is 3/4 as fast as a 6700 and the gaming performance is worse.

  • idk why you can't just test everything at 1080 and 1440. 4k is a meme and so is RT what a fucking pointless video, 35 mins of hard work for 3 mins of usable information as a potential consumer, something has to change with this format.

  • I feel like you guys tend to lean towards negative takes and have generally a toxic vibe to your videos. If something is doing really well you don’t bother reviewing it. If it’s something you can speak negatively about, you tend to prioritize those videos.

  • is this a good build setup:
    AMD Ryzen 5 7600 6C/12T 3,80/5,10 GHz
    be quiet! Pure Rock 2
be quiet! Pure Power 12 M Gold 750W
    ASRock B650M Pro RS DDR5
    Crucial P3 Plus M.2 NVMe PCIe 4.0 2TB
    CORSAIR Vengeance RGB DDR5 32GB 6000 CL36
    be quiet! Pure Base 500DX
12GB Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER Gaming OC 12G

  • I'm looking to pair the 4070 ti Super with an i5 13600k and 32GB DDR5 6000Mhz RAM is this a good pair or will I suffer bottle neck with it?

  • Is this an overkill for content creation like after effects and blender?

  • The effeciency test is so great
    Thanks for the hard work❤❤

  • The Ti Super is a welcome upgrade for all the 4070 Ti users !

Finally we all get 16 GB. This is the new bestseller from Nvidia !

  • I think about swapping my 12gb-3080 against a 4070TiSuper because I could get one 15% below MSRP. I'd like to be futureproof and more efficient (that's why 7900XT&X drop out for me) in 1440p-1920p (75Hz) until TES/GTA VI is out on PC. (q2-3 2026?). Then I'll have to build a complete new pc anyway and would probably grab an used 4080Super… Would you recommend this plan?

  • and here's another ranking without the 12gb-3080 ?!? why??! the 12gb is far common in use than the 10gb in europe…
