Installing Dedicated Palworld Server on Ubuntu 22.04
In this video I’ll show you how to install a dedicated Palworld Server on Ubuntu 22.04.3 Server. This is the configuration I use on my own dedicated Palworld server that I use for friends and family. It works well.
I have it running in a VM on ESXi. The VM has 2 vCPU, 8GB of RAM, and an 50GB disk backed by SSD. I believe the minimum RAM for a Satisfactory server is 8GB, so that’s what I did. If you plan on many users, you will probably want to increase that.
Below are the commands I used during this video in case you don’t want to manually type them.

If you try to use "Recent Servers" for connecting to this dedicated palworld server, it might not work. I had to manually type in the IP and port again instead of using the recent server entry.
Man, I was banging my head against the wall trying to figure this out. THANKS!
You make it look easy! 🙂 Thanks.
Worked like a charm. Thanks again for your help with setting up a dedicated server
Man. I gotta try that game! 🎉
Thanks for posting this! Have you played with migrating a current server from win to linux?
