You can easily update your Windows computer using PowerShell. Only you have to follow a few steps to set up the Windows server to accept updates through Powershell.

If you normally run the cmdlet Get-WindowsUPdate you will not get the result.

First of all, you have to install the module PsWindowsUpdate in order to install updates with PowerShell for successfully patching the Windows server.

Here in this video, I have demonstrated the step-by-step process of installing the PsWindowsUpdate Module and then I have installed the update showing on our Windows update screen.

Therefore, I have also shown how to check the update history on your Windows server with PowerShell and how to check the last update on the other computer available on the network through PowerShell.
