New dash cam footage shows semi-truck driver nearly falling off Louisville bridge
New dash cam footage shown in court in Louisville shows a semi-truck driver as she swerves and nearly crashes over a bridge back in March.
The dash cam footage was presented in court Wednesday by the Jefferson County Attorney’s Office in a criminal case against a pickup driver who is seen on the March 1 video swerving in front of a semi-truck trailer.
The tractor trailer then plows through the bridge’s railing and dangles over the water.
26-year-old Sydney Thomas, the driver of the semi-truck, was rescued by Louisville firefighters.
The driver of the pickup truck has been charged with four counts of wanton endangerment and one count of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.

The guy or girl in the pick up had to be on their phone. He merged into a parked car and hit it, ended up shocked, turn the wheel so aggressively hitting the semi on the other lane. The guy in the pick up need to be arrested.

It’s Fifth Wheel looks indestructible (The fifth wheel is what connects the trailer to the truck itself) Jokes aside, since I'm not a truck driver myself, one of the supports on the bridge, saved her life as the support stoped the trailer from going down any more and killing her

All because someone doesn’t know how to drive and doesn’t know that you NEVER go over a yellow dotted line against oncoming traffic. Doesn’t matter if a car in front of you is stopped or not. We know who was at fault here. The car that skipped the double yellow line. I’ve seen comments in other places saying the truck driver was at fault….gotta love trolls.

I hate that bridge. There is no way 4 cars if they were all at the same spot side by side would fit. Always drive single file even with 2 lanes each way.
