how to repair windows 7
give it a regular desktop pc
What happened to the original hard drive/ software? That would be really cool to see.
You should try to use the SB Live card's Hardware ID from within your Win7 x64 when you look for drivers for it. (Looks like this for example: HDAUDIOFUNC_01&VEN_10EC&DEV_0900&SUBSYS_1462DA11&REV_1000).
If you're going to run the hard drive like that, you really should turn it upside down so it doesn't make contact with anything metal in the bottom of that case.
Not sure how much it will help but the dell xps 600 used a card like that and dell’s site even has those hard to find xp 64 bit drivers you mentioned. They even had the version for vista there though that was a 32 bit version. If this computer has 4 gigs of ram or less it doesn’t make much sense to go for a 64 bit os.
i thought it was like a later pentium 4, i am a little bit surprised it's a core2 but not that much 😛
about the sound blaster live situation, on windows 98 audigy 2 zs drivers actually works for sound blaster lives as well, including most oem ones, maybe that's also the case on windows 7?
I am from Indiana, wish I could get old PCs from here!
the same indiana that does not have high speed gate free tolling.
also I have definitely made that sound blaster run on w7 before, albeit w7 32 bit
I succesfully ran SB Live! 5.1 under Windows 10/11 with kX Drivers. I think your issues are related to weird OEM's modifications.
there are vista drivers for older soundblasters the sbo570 works good in windows xp and it functions fine in vista
An SBC that takes socket 775 sounds neat
I have some original sound Blaster instalation cds i am going to try then out and se if they are still readable.. mayby i can find a way ti send you the files ….saying that excelente vídeo
core 2 duo in that thing with the proper bios update could possible run core 2 quad still very capable chip. Overclocks well too even those core 2 duos OC pretty decent lol. I have core 2 quad q6600 stable at 3.33ghz stock voltage aswell.
what a wonderful case! the next upgrade i plan for my main pc is a metal case like that with an antennae to improve signal (with a big red comical sphere on the end)
I'd highly recommend looking in to that typical software drama where there's an "origin" version forked.
Snappy Driver Installer Origin is the non-sketchy one people should be using.
that SB0200 is a dell OEM you need the dell driver, also it dose not have full hardware acceleration as it's software only.
got to love when OEM's cheep out.
the non junk SoundBlaster Live from dell that has full hardware acceleration is the SB0220
also dell got sued over this also all SoundBlasters models from dell need Dell Drivers.
I have a few rackmount industrial pc's that i'm sorting issues out on lol.
Neat computer!
These things are pretty cool! Wish I could find one!
First! Hooray!
