  • Saw a crew today working under a excavator bucket for shade

  • Man, I’m so glad I didn’t get into this field. I was really considering it for a bit went the Refrigeration route instead. Now I’m happy as a hamburger and my wife doesn’t tell me I smell like a robot when I get home.

  • Had a guy kill himself between the mast channels back in the late 90’s. Clark dealership in Wisconsin

  • Sometimes, half the battle is setting the job up right.

  • "Why are we paying so much for this Crown maintenance contract? Just have Jim work on them."

  • He'd have been safer just staying where he was sitting, the forks were sufficiently spaced for it. Instead his escape route put him under a tine. One of those many times when panic reactions put someone into more danger.

  • And that's one of the big hysters so that mast easily weighs several hundred pounds. We use those all the time to steel racks of built axles. His clothes would've been folded with him still in them.

  • Stored Energy ! always ALWAYS brace anything that has STORED ENERGY

  • Normally he would be dead or is this just a hospitalization?

  • I want you as my forklift tech. Maybe I wouldn't have gone 8 PMS on the last one before someone. Noticed my side shift channel was 8 inches out of place to the left. "Why do I only got so much shift to the right and not as much to the left there, tech guy?"

"Oh, well this thing shouldn't be hanging out like this, how long has it been this way?"

Looks at hours "Oh, about all 1275 of the hours on this machine."

    Tech 😅

  • After seeing all those videos, im surprised my dad and his employees managed to stay unharmed after 15years of running a trucking/sand business in 05-19s china with no government safety inspections and trucking in the fucking mud road mountains where you could just fell off a 100meter hill

  • So when are you going to fix Dereks Forklift at vicegripgarage man has only E-Brake.

  • It's like sawing a roof that you're standing on.

Maybe just take a second to think of basic physics?

    just consider what could happen?

  • I worked for an LTL Trucking company once, one of the owners was working on a Forklift, when the mast came down and cut 3 of his fingers off. The morning crew said they came into work found him wrapped up just sitting on the dock.

  • He could've also removed the Forks.
Flip the pin and slide it off.

Remember, if it's above You, You're under It

  • had this on a tractor loader frame 2 weeks ago, cylinder just got back from being rebuilt and when we went to re attach the loader to the tractor it was leaking from the fitting, go to tighten it up and the threads ripped off the fitting, i got hit in the eye from 8 feet away, it also hit my truck 20 feet in the opposite direction

  • Thats smart how he pre lubed his pants so he could easily slide out from under the forks
