How does neighbor discovery work in IPv6? Not by using ARP, but by using Neighbor Discovery Protocol (NDP) and ICMPv6 messaging. This video demonstration shows the process of router solicitation (RS) and router advertisement (RA) as well as neighbor solicitation (NS) and neighbor advertisement (NA) using Packet Tracer to visualize the process.
