  • This movie was a good movie but it had a lot of false things in it… Like the sign on the wall that didn't happen Kevin Costner that guy was fictional there was no sign there…That ended 3 years prior… it ended in 1958 in the movie timeline was in 1961…she… said she never went running that half a mile or whatever it was..too use the bathroom…. she used the bathroom right there at NASA…That was fictional too… And the three women hanging out all the time…that never happened she said it never happened and the blonde lady was fictional too Kristen Dunst… There's more she had an interview she was a real old lady and none of that ever ever happened… beautiful lady…✝️🕊️💜the cop stopping them and escorting them that never happened either…

  • So y’all know, it’s actually pronounced “Youler”. You’re welcome.

  • I hate this scene as much as I love this scene. “That’s ancient” like yes. Addition is ancient. Math is transcendently atemporal what exactly is the issue here no one in this field would ever say that regardless of their degree of racism

  • The way they show discussions surrounding math is so stupid

  • Uhhh, ancient?

I use the Pythagorean Theorem almost daily. 3-4-5 method.

  • It would be resisted because it's a method of approximation, not calculation by formula. But such were used for centuries to solve issues for which theories and formula had not derived. And, with modern computational systems (even by the standards of the era of "Hidden Figures") it can be useful.

In fact, much of the issue with using it comes from later math still, the concept of Chaos Theory.

  • Roman math is the hardest. Is that 10x or 20?

  • There is someone In the other universe who hates to refer as rocket scientist . The same person is a jealousy Rocket scientist in this universe…😂😂😂

  • Me, who can barely add fractions…”yeah, that sounds right”

  • It’s not entirely clear to me, but is she referring to Euler’s method for solving differential equations?

  • The whole scene was nonsense, and more weird than funny, though I laughed out loud at Euler's Method.

  • "Let's type it up" … boooy, you type it up! I just did all of your work, now you do mine!

  • She comes up with the solution, she fixes the problem, and all he can say is Type it up?
    What's the magic word?

Black american. Physics , chemist and math whiz. Would have become a physician except she married a black doctor. Her father was a doctor. She is 94 years old and sharp as a pin. I see her everytime I see clips of these women. Black Americans help build this country! Thank you JEHOVAH for my mom. I love you heavenly Father and my mom!

  • I was reminded of the scene from "Young Sheldon" where he corrects a NASA scientist
