• I can tell that this video was made with good intentions, but I can't in any good faith reccomend this video as an informational piece to any friends of mine interested in trying out XIV for the first time. I admire your clear enthusiasm for the game displayed in the knowledge you provide over the course of it, but thanks to substantial issues such as:

  -Informational errors, such as incorrectly labeling what expansion Dancer and Gunbreaker unlock in (which could cause someone to spend money on Endwalker that they wouldn't want to otherwise in pursuit of them)

  -Poor editing choices, such as placing the grey 2.x symbol over an almost-always-similarly coloured section of the screen without any dropshadow (making it difficult to see for the majority of the video's runtime where it's present)

  -Exclusion of important details, such as unlock times for certain Job Actions/Traits (which could get someone interested in trying out a job… only for them to end up extremely disappointed when they realise that something like The Blackest Night will take about two and a half expansions worth of levels to gain access to, and thus is unusable in over half of the game's leveling roulette and 50/60/70/80 roulette dungeons.)

  …I simply can't call this video a definitive guide to getting into the game's Jobs in any single way. Nonetheless, I can tell that you absolutely have the passion to properly make something like that in the future, however- and if this video were to recieve a revision of sorts at any point, I'd happily watch over it in the hopes that it stands out from this one as a proper resource for getting people into the game, like the ones you mentioned early into the video. For now, however- I have my doubts that anyone showing this to a newcomer friend of theirs will be able to do so without correcting or adding onto information from it as needed- or without some degree of disappointment on the newcomer's end as they figure things out on their own.

• When I was playing (On Hiatus) I just play a class/job and see what it clicks to me. Favorite melee is Ninja, Physical ranged Machinist and Tank for Dark knight. Those jobs clicks to me.

• Great Video. Glad to finally see a class guide without a lot of fluff, oversimplification or overcomplication. Just, here's the job, this where you get it, and this is how it plays comparatively.

Whenever I click on a video from a channel with barely any subs, and the vid has barely any views, my highest expectation is that a video is going to be super rough around the edges but have some goodness within it. This video… is just really good. It's barely even rough around the edges. I'm actually astonished by how good this is, and I look forward to your future uploads.
