  • The only thing you can do after all this is start your own ISP. One day i hope to get to this level but I'm also happy with my current setup with 4 local servers. I wonder if families with homelabs train their children to take care of it. I often wonder if setups like this can be generational.

  • 4:22 "Pretty simple stuff here" – I'm sorry, whaaat? Nothing seems simple here…I'm just awe struck looking at all of this

  • After 25 years of IT, the last thing i want to do so is come home and have to manage another data center

  • Why would you go to all that trouble?
    What's your electricity bill?

All that noise…. i'd just go with NAS. Not sure what you need all that compute – unless it's for porn 😆

  • I should really stop calling my 1 old laptop and 1 pc converted to proxmox server a homelab after seeing this. :p

  • Damn, this man has money!! Other than that, this is so cool and I would love to have something similar for my house!

  • This is crazy, but why. What all are you doing with this?

  • In Germany this would be 25k € per year on power consumption alone. On a good contract.

  • what i think i'm running on my homelab: 🏢🏢🏢📡
    what i'm actually running: 📻♟🧸☎

  • I have a lab in my basement slightly larger than this one, people are always blown away when I show them the man cave haha… Do you have a whole house generator tied into your main(s) with ATS?

  • I really love this homelab setup,
Sir, is it a data center?

  • Even just closing a fart in that room would probably cause a full shut down and reset from how clean everything is.

  • I've seen a lot of company with network/server infrastructure WAYY less complicated and small then this…

  • This is what I will show my wife when she thinks my Proxmox hobby is out of control 😂 👍🏻

  • Anddddddddddd this is the outcome when you have wealthy people in technology

  • ما خليت والو اخي هذا DATACENTER

  • Of course. Because you need 10GiB fiber to carry the signal to switch your kitchen lights on.

  • Wait. You have half a dozen switches who's job is to sit there in case you need one? At your house?

Not for nothing but maybe consider just switching to youp0rN?

  • Where's the small modular nuclear reactor that power's all of this?
