  • Not to be an @ss, butt your videos are getting to long. I don't have available time sitting on my @ss to finish my project. lol

  • Thoroughly enjoy all your videos, you deserve millions of views, seriously!

  • Where do I find a price that He’s wanting for the square? Can’t seem to find it in the comments.

  • I had an uncle who worked for the city of Centerville. I don’t remember seeing that pickup around but I wasn’t around there much after 1995. And my uncle is no longer with us so can’t ask him. Unfortunately I became a blue plater. Not proud of it. I use those balancing beads in some older trucks and they work well. They can cause problems if you have pressure sensors so I balance them with weights. Sorry your square body didn’t work out. I have a 1987 3/4 ton I’m restoring. Same truck but built 350 and no rust and it’s black. Better luck next time on the square body. I have been working on mine for 15 years and it’s close to done. To many projects and lost interest many times over. Mojo did a fine job on that socket! Nice burn out! Fun to see!

  • Another interesting video. Good story about your grandpa. I still have good memories of mine. I'm 87. 👍👍

  • Missed your videos and ass kickin jams!!! Headbanging too much had a crick in my neck lol.

  • You need a Mortske Jr to pass your knowledge on to, but that will require a Mrs. Mortske. Good luck with that one.

  • For the love of Pete!!! Please I say Please don’t ever dance again!!!!!!

  • If you lower this truck i will not only unsubscribe, i will burn the phone i use to watch Mortske on. I have a few factory GM square body chicken chaser lens that i will send you for free.

  • Its a good truck but that 454 will eat the hell out of the gas.

  • I am probably going to get some YouTube grief over this comment but here goes…one of my YouTube pet peeves is the "abandoned" in the title. If someone owns it, on their property, has a title and you pay money for it it is not abandoned. That being said I am a huge fan of this channel and learn something new every time I watch. Just on man's thoughts.

  • I grew up on a road with a T. Every morning you never knew what you were going to find on the road that fell off someone's load.

  • Mortske check the caps on the axle joints, some have the zirk in the caps instead of the cross. Also an old farmer trick for leaking wheel seals is to replace the seal and pack the bearings with grease and run the diff an inch low on oil. I’ve ran into that many times working in a shop. Usually only on the farm truck we did bakes on. If you use 1/2” plastic air brake tubing it’s a bit more flexible, or pex tubing works also. Hook the vacuum ball back up and the heat should work again.

  • Hey Mortske and Duff👋, good old square body with 454. Thanks for sharing and Merry Christmas 🎄 to you and family

  • I know you said mojo doesn't like being on camera, but i sure would like to watch him do a cheap rebuild on a smallblock Chevy. Mojo reminds me a little of my grandpa. Seems like a great guy to have around your shop.

  • Sounds like you're grandma was a pretty cool old guy and I can relate being 63 myself.

  • Maybe some day, I'll understand what you folks see in these pickups. I try. I try hard to find something to like. But find very little. I just find that they have no style whatsoever. Unlike the 30s to 60s pickups. An a acquired taste maybe? Should I be patient? Will I eventually understand? That being said, it doesn't stop me from watching. Always entertaining. Thanks for this Mortske.

  • Great old rig. Old mojo is like an old pecker.. hard to beat.

  • I worked in a Cooper tire store many yrs ago. We used these round scruffy pads on a drill to clean rims and I swore by that black bead sealer.

  • I thought the knock might’ve been the flywheel broke the center out till I heard it idling, sounds rough!

  • I think I might have to go see the chiropractor after you hit that chug hole. Lol

  • Maybe timing fluctuation at rpm causing it not to hold a steady speed?….or running lean for some reason

  • 28:05 Just out of curiosity…and a lack of familiarity with SD state politics from clear down in mid TN…I looked these two up. 2011 is when they took office in the SD House of Representatives. Possible dating evidence on when the truck was last running? Definitely saw some activity during their campaign but it's entirely possible the signs were just tossed in a derelict truck bed.

  • 24:27 I'm not a fan of lowering anything truth be told. I wouldn't lower it myself. I would, however, manual swap it.

  • Would love to see a lowered four wheel drive and merry christmas to you and duff
