Alicat Scientific – IP Address Configuration
Alicat devices configured with EtherNet/IP and other EtherNet based industrial protocols require an IP address in order to distinguish it from other equipment on the network.
Static IP address: Device keeps the same IP address upon power cycling.
DHCP Server: Computer uses the Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) server to automatically assign a dynamic IP address.
Web Server Configuration: Change the IP address and other configuration settings using the Alicat Embedded Web Server.
