Allow to unlimited simultaneous remote connections in Windows Server 2016

1. Prepare

– DC21 : OS Windows Server 2016, Workgroup; IP 10.0.0.21

– WIN71, WIN1091, WIN1092 : Client, Workgroup

2. Step by step : Allow to unlimited simultaneous remote connections to DC21 (default only one remote session at the same time)

– DC21 : Enable remote desktop service

+ Click File Explorer – Right-click This PC : properties –

– Remote settings – Select Allow remote connections to this computer – OK

– From WIN1091, WIN1092, WIN71 remote to DC21

+ Right-click Taskbar – Task Manager – Users tab === Only one remote session at the same time

– DC21 : Allow to unlimited simultaneous remote connections

+ Start – gpedit.msc – Computer Configuration – Administrative Templates – Windows Components

– Remote Desktop Services – Remote Desktop Session Host – Connections

– Double-click “Restrict Remote Desktop Services users to a single Remote Desktop Services session” : Disable

– From WIN1091, WIN1092 remote to DC21

+ Right-click Taskbar – Task Manager – Users tab

=== has simultaneous 2 remote connections of Administrator account === OK
