Apache Cassandra Sidecar is a reactive service that enables various new use cases for Apache Cassandra databases. Apache Sidecar uses existing hardware efficiently by multiplexing concurrent Apache Cassandra tasks. Additionally, Sidecar optimizes inbound and outbound streaming of SSTables by using zero-copy streaming techniques, as well as having a low memory, low CPU footprint.
