Are GitHub Certificates worth it?
What’s your opinion?
On January 8, GitHub released 4 certificates. The certificates should cost 200 USD each.
Almost everyone was actually of the opinion that 200 USD was too much for the certificates.
After only 4 days, they reduced the price to 99 USD per certificate.
In addition, they are offering a time-limited 50% discount on the Foundation certificate.
For me, it is definitely one of the less important certificates. The GitHub tools are important, but I don’t think the certificates will have much value.
Before GitHub certificates, I would definitely choose Cloud Certificates, Kubernetes, Docker, Linux etc.
I would love to hear your opinion in the comments.

I looked up, and they seem to just check you from basic knowledge, and not many companies support those certs, and also, I think gitlab or codeberg might be better alternatives than github
