I mean my motherboard of my asus is damaged after 4 years that kinda true but they the best right now so
Asus has earned respect from PC builders?
I'll take "Things that never happened" for $100 Alex.
Asus has been Shite since the dawn of their existence.
Damn right it will have an effect on the company. Because I will never buy Asus Motherboard again, ever.
Granted, my personal decision only makes a tiny effect on the company, but it is an effect nonetheless
Yeah I didn’t even think about my MB being the reason for my PC issues…. Asus used to be my favorite….and I just bought a new r7 asus MB bundle. Guess I’m returning that.
If only "name popular company" got the same treatment.
the whole asus fiasco is the reason why I chose to buy Lenovo legion rather than Asus G16. if someone who "made" them a lot of money such as Jayz can get bad apples, what's the chance of normal people like us to get one?
Even tho this is a yr old glad I saw this cause I was gonna buy a 7800x3d and asus b650 plus
Wowza, i have an asus motherboard and haven't run into any issues for 5 years so far. But, this is making me reconsider my next motherboard upgrade, which was planned to be an Asus ROG strix… I don't want to chance any issues making me blow more money than i need to.
Really watching this a year late and after buying an asus motherboard
That doctor disrespect joke did not age well
Of course it’s going to have an effect on the company. I’m just going to buy another company’s products
The doc jumpscare aged well 😂
This aged well.. considering the RMA issues I been hearing about
asus been real shitty recently
My asus prebuilt came with a fucked gpu
I've followed Jay, for years. Great respect and he absolutely knows what he's taking about. About to build a new 3-5k system. Now no Asus.
This is why I did not buy a RoG Ally
Ive been dealing with an RMA situation with ASUS now for almost 3 goddamn years…. 3 bad boards arrived so far… Some of the time was cuz they forced me into a board that i would need a different cpu and gpu for so I got it (z790 e wifi gaming) and found its super limitied as to where i can run my 4070 super only at x8 and my NVME at x4 the one board prior they sent me they claimed didnt support usb 3 even tho it had the blue plugs on the board. Now im onlky dealing wioth corporate people and they told me the z790 e wifi gaming does not support 14th gen intel AT ALL AND WONT when there is a bios upodate that adds support.. They have lied to me and fed me misinformation countless times…. Im highly considering legal action at this point i have health issues and cannot take the stress anymore
I have had major issues with my asus gaming laptop and had to be repaired like 3 times within a year. Now I am in process of building first ever PC and have reluctantly put my faith in them with their motherboard again because everyone told me that they are good. Hopefully it stays that way.
Your bashing the wrong company. Asus is abandoning their clients. So someone is vocal about it. Asus is still disregarding the people and issues with their products. The simple answer is repair or replace the product Asus.
I trow my Asus motherboard out and replaced it never more asus
No, asus does great products. Occasional screw up is inevitable
Never call out a narcissist they are immaculate and superior they got zero flaws, if you do they will just gaslight you and shift the blame back to you , they are not the problem you are , no matter the evidence they Will never take accountability ever
The dr disrespect reference didn’t age well
I’ve only ever owned one ASUS product and I haven’t ever carried, sold, used, etc. an ASUS product as a professional. Why? Long before I got into PC building, I wanted to build my first gaming PC. Bought an ASUS board. This was like 2008-2010 ish. I was still a kid. Got a bad board. ASUS customer service was crap, the RMA process was ignorant. Got another one and it was bad. So I wound up going to Best Buy and buying a board off their shelf. I want to say it was an MSI board but I don’t remember. ASUS left a bad taste in my 13 year old mouth that I’ve never forgotten. Any time a customer has ever wanted an ASUS product, I try and talk them out of it. If they still want it, I order precisely 1 so it’s in my building, slapped in their PC, and sent out the door.
Never liked Asus. Not since my Asus laptop only lasted a year back in 2016
Asus is a shame on Taiwan.
I always had Asus and built my own PC, never returned one product in 20 years.
It will defenitly becquse my respect for asus has decresed
It sucks for me having a Asus Laptop 💀
YAYAYA
His refusal to work with Asus didn't last too long, he went crawling back.
He probably got a mb that was sent from another reviewer as they share the same board and the last guy bent the pins
..but it wasn't real though. Jay has featured ASUS several times since making that video. Just like any other tech youtuber, he follow the interests of the viewers – and when that is interest is on ASUS; he jumps back to making content featuring ASUS products. He shouldn't have said he wouldn't feature them, when he went back to doing that so fast. It's fine holding them accountable though – he just shouldn't have said that (not wanting to feature them).
We have PC builds IN STOCK today at https://zttbuilds.com 😉
