Barrier Allows MacOS Keyboard & Mouse to Control Ubuntu
As a result of viewers asking me to show an actual Linux system being controlled by MacOS using Barrier, this video will show you how to do that. I do point out that I was able to get Ubuntu to play nice only by disabling SSL fingerprints. This is clearly not ideal, but as I do not use Linux often, it will suffice for the time being.
When I use Barrier with Windows, SSL is always enabled.
MacOS Sonoma , Barrier 2.3.4 on Mac Mini M1 2020 model
Ubuntu Desktop 22.04.3 LTS on Pocket PC (Celeron J4125) , Barrier 2.4.0
Video output of the Ubuntu system is captured on Mac using a USB-c capture dongle and OBS studio to view the video. This is how I three-finger swipe between both environments (Mac & Linux) using a single monitor for both systems.
