Today I will introduce the concept of blocking wifi user using
MAC/DHCP Filtering in PLDT FIBR
1. First, we need to log-in the administrator account
to those who don’t know how to enable the admin account in
PLDT FIBR visit this video
open your browser
and type
https://192.168.1.1/fh
login the username: adminpldt
and password: z6dUABtl270qRxt7a2uGTiw
2. first check the users connected to your wifi
go to STATUS TAB, WIRELESS STATUS , WIFI CLIENTS LIST
this is for wireless user
for lan user
goto status tab, lan status, DHCP Clients List
if you find bugos user then we will block it using MAC/DHCP filtering
example
copy the mac address
goto SECURITY TAB, CLICK DHCP FILTERING,
YOU SHOULD CLICK ENABLE AND BLACKLIST
THEN ADD THE MAC ADDRESS TO BLOCK
PASTE AND APPLY
(i WILL REMOVE THAT MAC ADDRESS BCOZ THAT’S MINE. JEJEJEJEJEJ)
OR
YOU can add also that mac address to MAC FILTERING
SAME CLICK ENABLE AND BLACKLIST
ADD MAC ADDRESS
YOU CAN SET TIME TO BLOCK AND ENABLE THAT COMPUTER TO ACCESS YOUR INTERNET.
CLICK APPLY.
