Build a better HTML Checkbox with WebComponents!
The way HTML checkboxes work has always annoyed me. Unless the box is actually checked, the value it represents is not submitted with the rest of the form data. In some instances, this can be useful, but most of the time this behavior is incomprehensible. It also becomes rather tedious on the server side to determine if a box should be checked or not. So here’s my solution using the WebComponent API. Let me know what you think about this video! Would you enjoy seeing more like this?
