Title: Building & Validating with Common Cloud Controls: A Vertical Slice Demo
Abstract: The entire FINOS community is ablaze with discussion and effort surrounding the Common Cloud Controls project (CCC). In this presentation we will witness the first public demonstration of value from CCC through partnership with its sister project: Compliant Financial Infrastructure (CFI). We’ll explore what it took to create the first iteration of a CCC output, and how the CFI project used that output to build both infrastructure as code and runtime validation tests to streamline a financial services compliance use case. This vertical slice will not only prove the value of CCC initiatives, but it will demonstrate how an effective rallying of open source contributors can rapidly elevate the entire ecosystem.
