CCNA Day 18 | Routing Information Protocol (RIP) | Networking | #ITIndex | Routing Protocol

The Routing Information Protocol is distance-vector routing protocols in this we use hop count for best path Selection as a metric. RIP prevents routing loops with some parameters Split Horizon , route poising , Hold down timer .

IT is an Interior Gateway Protocol (IGP) designed to distribute routing information within an Autonomous System .

Explained these points

1- Hope count.

2- Flash update

3- Route poising

4- Split Horizon

5- Hold-down timer

If you want to become Expert in RIP must watch complete playlist in given link…..
