### EXPLANATION ###

There are three main OSPF NW types, and which type an interface will be by default depends on the Layer 2 encapsulation used:
1) Broadcast – Default NW type on Ethernet and FDDI interfaces
2) Point-to-point – Default NW type on PPP and HDLC interfaces (= Serial )
3) Non-broadcast – Default NW type on Frame Relay and X.25 interfaces
