Centos Linux EoL – RedHat Made a Terrible Decision
CentOS Linux project basically came to an end. What Redhat did with their recent announcement is quite sad. What we know now, it that the CentOS project will be upstream from the RedHat official RHEL release. Previously CentOS was a clone of RedHat, but without support. With this new decision Centos 8 will become deprecated at the end of 2021 December and from then will serve as a beta testing platform for official RHEL.
