We get some nice hands-on time with the HTC Titan II from AT&T. This is the first Windows Phone with 4G LTE and it has a whopping 16-megapixel camera.

  • I'm not sure how many people know this (obviously the top two comments know, to an extent at least), but megapixels don't make the quality of the camera better, necessarily. The quality of the megapixels is what really makes the image quality better. 16MP just means you get a massive resolution, but it could turn out being a huge picture with horrible quality.

This means it could just be sneaky marketing by HTC, but who knows. I haven't seen any uploaded photos from the T2 yet, so we'll see.

  • if u are that guy who just cares about the Megapixels, then look at the Nokia Pureview 808.

  • Here we have a troll who cant even troll right. First of all, WIndows is the product name. so the product cant be lazy by itself. What you wanna say is Microsoft is just being lazy. second of all not all apps have the same color. some have the darker squares than your default color or they have completely different color, aka xbox live, weather apps with pictures, zune with artists, youtube etc. if Microsoft is being uncreative and lazy, how come no one came up with metro designs?

  • Hey bro, could you please tell me how you get invited to that with HTC? I was at CES too, but I didn't get invited 🙁

  • when is the SUPERPHONE on market? and whats the first price? thanks from germany!

  • @BeforeEverything I'm not too sure about HTC camera's. IMHO I feel that HTC shouldn't have made the camera a main feature if what you say about the sensor is true.

  • @klanko64 In a few years we'll just make phone calls with our tablet.. lol holding your tablet to your ear :D!!!!!!

  • wow this phone is nice, i really dont like windows phones but this one is very impressive

  • @raiseorblade82 no more about the sensor but yes the lens must still be good

  • @PrettyBoyJrod personal opinion. my galaxy s II is a monster…and specs wise iphone 4s is late

  • 4.7" screen? jesus they just keep getting bigger. i was happy with a 3.5/3.7"

  • @raiseorblade82 Depends on what you mean by "better"

  • The MegaPixels only matter for zooming in.. The more lenses the better picture

  • I'm waiting for the iPhone 5 I was with android for years and didn't really care for ther battery life I recently switch to the iPhone 4s and it's much better than android.

  • 16 gigabytes of memory… dude get your terms right that almost threw me off by a ton… being three times as better as my laptop…

  • @superearthbender HTC would never make a phone with a "cheap" sensor with a boated MP count. Some people just plain lie about their camera's MP count. Maybe that's why some cheap digital cameras look bad. And we still don't have enough information on this phone. I'm no HTC fan because I don't like their design but I still like to keep up with the latest tech trends.

  • anybody know what the music at 2:20 is called?

  • Good to see an HTC phone with a decent OS for a change. Android really is the most poorly written laggy OS on the market. Google should start over from scratch with Android code so that it runs smoothly like Windows Phone and iOS.

  • Hahaha. Windows mobile. :D. Hehe look how cute it look trying. Aawwwww…

  • as soon as i saw it was Windows OS, and left this somment, i left.

  • alright alright alright alright alright alright alright alright alright….. How much will it cost? D:

  • @BeforeEverything Sample pictures do suggest that the HTC Titan II's camera is better than most 8MP camera phones. For example the iPhone 4S camera performs really badly in low light. Also the resolution being higher you can zoom in more without the image getting grainy. But what surprised me was the fact that this phone only puts out 720p video.

  • @raiseorblade82 Megapixels do matter but you are right there is a lens factor. You can't have 2MP camera with a awesome lens on par with a 8MP camera with a poor lens.
Can I get some likes for this?

  • The megapixels really mean nothing. It's all about the lens. 16 megapixels doesn't mean it's better.
