Check that your VPN is NOT Leaking DNS Addresses
Performing a DNS leak test will ensure that your VPN connection is establish properly and means there is probably no confliction with your VPN. Using DNSLeakTest should be enough but if your VPN provider has a first party DNS leak test, use that instead.
