Chipsets and Motherboards that support Windows 11 operating system
Microsoft not very long ago announced the coming of Windows 11 as a free update for Windows 10 users. This is very exciting, of course, but then we learned that certain Windows 11 system requirements are not as they seem. You see, in order for folks to experience what Windows 11 has to offer, they must first have a computer that supports TPM 2.0.
Now, you might think all or most computers support this, but that is not exactly the case. It all boils down to the motherboard and CPU, and if you lack the right ones, you will be left behind unless you can afford to upgrade your desktop or laptop computer.
What is TPM 2.0?
When it comes down to storing sensitive information on a Windows computer at the hardware level, TPM is required. This is why only some computers support Windows Hello, Fingerprint verification, and critical biometric data.
Supported Chipsets and Motherboards for Windows 11
OK, so here is the thing. If you want to use the upcoming Windows 11 operating system, you need to make sure your computer contains an Intel 8th Generation or higher CPU. In terms of AMD, you should have a Ryzen 3 or higher CPU.

Can Windows 11 work without TPM?
Microsoft will allow device manufacturers to disable the TPM requirement on their OEM Windows 11 version. You too can bypass the requirement and run Windows 11 on non-TMP hardware.
