Cisco Webex Room Kit Mini Unboxing and Setup

In this video I unbox and install a Cisco Webex Room Kit Mini. I discuss the accessories, cables and mounting hardware / bracket that come with the unit and then install it on the back of a 55 inch display. This is a great endpoint for huddle spaces and small conference rooms! It makes typical calls but also has USB Redirect for meeting software that doesn’t always support SIP calls such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Go To Meeting, etc.

  • What has been your experience so far with the Room Kit Mini if you have one in your environment?

  • How do you configure the roomkit with CUCM?

  • Great video!!
I have a few technical questions about initial set-up.
How user friendly is the setup after the initial physical installation?

I am considering selling this set up to a potential client and I want to know if I need outside tech support or if I can provide the support.

  • can i use this camera direct in laptop by through usb cable its possible

  • I have purchased cisco k9 plus room kit, now how to register device and from where I can get 16 digits activation code ?

  • Nice can i hove another video tutorial , when im using laptop to room kit via wifi
    Thank you

  • There is 2 ethernet cable plug into the cam and your forgot to mention where both ends of the cable connect to

  • I know it is possible to connect it to a PC with a USB cable so it looks like a webcam (with built-in mic and speaker), but can this be left connected when you want to use the codec to make a SIP call, or is it an 'either/or' scenario i.e. you have to physically unplug the USB for it to revert back to Codec mode?

  • Cisco uses the term SPARK often with these same 3 different sized units. Is there a difference? Same form factor and mounting points? Thanks.

  • great video man! helped me answer a lot of the questions a had about this! buying one for my company.
I just got a couple questions though, hope you can help me out:
    – if you already plugged the Ethernet and the Power cable individually, why did you also plugged a PoE cable?
    – the wireless content sharing is from a third party device(notebook, PC, Ipad..) or is it from the Cisco tablet?

  • Dear really super. but i have a doubt about the domain register .. how we can register domain and ext… please share with us..

  • Did the unit come with both mounting option? display mount and wall mount?… thanks

  • when unboxing did you come across the privacy cover? It is supposed to come with one.
