Configure Multi Website in Windows Server 2022

1. Prepare

– DC21 : Domain Controller(Yi.vn), IP 10.0.0.21 | DC22 : Web Server, IP 10.0.0.22 | WIN111 : Client

2. Step by step : Create 2 Website www.Yi.vn and www.Yz.vn on DC22

– DC21 : Create 2 records DNS for www.Yi.vn, www.Yz.vn

+ Server Manager – Tools – DNS – DC21 – Forward Lookup Zones

+ Click Yi.vn – Right-Click – New Host (A or AAA)… – Name : www, IP address : 10.0.0.22

+ Right-Click “Forward Lookup Zones” – New Zone… – Choose “Primary zone” – Zone name : Yz.vn – Finish

+ Click Yz.vn – Right-Click – New Host (A or AAA)… – Name : www, IP address : 10.0.0.22

– DC22 : Install Web service and create 2 websites basic named www.Yi.vn and www.Yz.vn

+ Create a folder named Yi on C: – Create a file text named ‘index.txt’ then change index.txt to index.htm – Right-click index.htm

– Open with – notepad – Type “This is Website of Yi” – File – save – close (do the same for Yz)

+ Server Manager – Manage – Add Roles and Features – Next to Server Roles : Select ‘Web Server (IIS)’ – Add Features – Next to Install – Close

+ Tools – Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager – DC22 – Site – Right-Click ‘Default Web Site’ – remove – Yes

+ Right-Click Sites – Add Website… :

+ Site name : Yi – Physical path : C:Yi – IP address : 10.0.0.22 – Host name : www.Yi.vn – OK

+ Site name : Yz – Physical path : C:Yz – IP address : 10.0.0.22 – Host name : www.Yz.vn – OK

– WIN111 : Check 2 websites. Start – Microsoft Edge

+ Type : www.Yi.vn – display content “This is Website of Yi”. Type : www.Yz.vn – display content “This is Website of Yz” === OK
