  All these companies complain about `no skilled candidates` yet they don't even get lists of recently certified people.
  There is no reason companies could not create some kind of deal with CompTIA offsec cisco etc that when someone passes the cert test they are also sent an email for an interview invite. This is how companies have been recruiting top candidates from colleges for ages.
  There just seems to be so little effort on the actual recruiting front and the companies are much more happy offloading the work to the education platforms like HTB and TCM.
  For example, I have the CCNP security, every cybersec compTIA cert, the OSCP and some others. Im ranked top 10 in America on HTB and do writeups, coding projects etc.
  im taking my OSWE in 2 weeks too and do bugbounty for synack. I even have a bachelors degree (lmao).
  I should have recruiters breaking down my door to fill an entry level role. But not one, not a single person or company has reached out.

  I dont know how much more `qualified and skilled` a person can get for an entry level role…….

• You should check out the hackthebox certs. They are really good, prob the best around for their level atm. A lot better thsn OSCP. In fact OSCP at this point is just for HR. Most the material is kinda old or not very in depth. Keep hearing awful things about their labs, teaching methods, student support and exam methods too.
