Digital Assets In A Multi-Polar World

A virtual Hyperledger meetup on November 8, 2023 featuring Vipin Bharathan, Principal at dlt.nyc speaking about digital assets in a multi-polar world.

The world is coalescing into multiple zones of competition and collaboration. Several schemes have emerged for creating, and operating digital assets in each of these alliances. A global marketplace for commodities, services, and manufactured goods necessitates the interoperability of these kinds of digital assets. Global threats such as climate change, pandemics, and war also force this integration.

This is a general survey of this digital asset landscape. The broad technical contours of solutions that have been launched or are being planned are included. Possible future evolution of collaborative infrastructure and some suggestions are also sketched out.
