This ASUS ROG Gaming Laptop came into my repair shop because it wouldn’t charge and the power button was broken. Little did I know it was also infested with some sort of dead carpet beetle larvae. The DC jack was cracked, the power button broke off from the top case, the CPU and GPU were overheating due to clogged vents and old thermal paste, the HDD needed to be cloned over to an SSD (which I didn’t even have time to show), the CHARGER itself was broken, and the keyboard had so many crumbs in it I had to take it outside to blow it out for 10 minutes. This is by far the worst laptop I’ve ever had, but also the most satisfying repair as I was able to fix everything and make it run and look brand new again.

Can be good to mention that this model is 10+ years old. The owner probably never opened it and put it away in a dusty environment as the looks of it.

This was my Dad's Laptop…he didn't sit it on his Lap, he just didn't dust very often, and smoked. he died of lung cancer and i paid to have his computer cleaned so i could have something to remember him by… im so happy i watched this video.. wait. no im not. if i had known he was gonna make fun of my dad like this i wouldn't have even used his services…

if it werenāt for the fact iām pretty sure iām on the other side of the world, i would trust this man with my computer more than my local guys
