Docker is for EVERYONE (learn it RIGHT NOW)
Docker has become a fundamental tool for enterprise, developers, IT administrators, and hobbyists alike. *We partnered up with Docker Inc.* to bring this video talking about why it’s such a great tool, who it’s useful for, and highlight some features you may not be using.

linux web server
I'm the opposite. If I am looking for software for my server and the only option to use it is a docker install then I give it a hard pass. I just always have way too many problems with docker. Much easier setting up native on my server for me.
👍
I understand this was sponsored, but some shout-out of podman would have been welcome.
As a developer, a freaking hate podman. That said, when I'm wearing my "network dude" hat, I do enjoy some of the differences in how networking is handled.
Why docker? I think it's better to spread and try and tell about open source podman
Do you have a recommended video for someone new to all of this stuff? I would like to setup a media server but have no experience in this field at all.
You have to learn it right now. I hear that phrase somewhere 😂
I’ve began setting up my own media server using a few different Linux configurations and machines, but have always ran Jellyfin or Plex on the machine itself rather than using a container program like docker. Besides the added security and ability to use a dashboard with all of your programs, is there any benefit to switching from running straight on the computer, to using a container program?
I'm using Docker on a VPS so that's already virtualized. There I have an LXC Container running Docker. I think it's generally not advised to run Docker in Proxmox but it works fine for me.
Hey just wanted ask if you'd consider making a tutorial on setting up a media stack in UGOS. Been having a rough time of it myself lol
Can't I wait till tomorrow? Not feeling very focused today 😵💫
Edit LOL You changed the title rightt after I left my comment 😁
