Domain Controller In-place upgrade from Windows Server 2008 R2 to Windows Server 2012 R2.

In-place upgrade – a process of installing a new version of operating system on the server without removing the older version.

Pre-requisites:
1. Make sure that your LDAP dependent applications are compatible with the architecture of the new Windows Server 2012 R2.
2. Full backup copy of your Domain Controller.
3. Make sure that all domain controllers are active and have connections from the other DC.
4. A copy of Windows Server 2012 R2 installer.
5. An Administrator account with Schema admins and Enterprise admins.
Here are the scripts that we will be using during the process.
