Downloading, building and installing -gretl- 2021b-git (using Kubuntu Linux)

In this video, I show you every step you need to follow in order to download and install the latest version (at the time of filming) of the -gretl- (GNU Regression, Econometrics and Time Series Library, available at http://gretl.sourceforge.net/index.html) data analysis package, using to -git- to download and update it, along with other tidbits and features.

This should be seen as the successor to my previous upload in 2015 where I showed you how to download and install -gretl- using the Concurrent Version System (CVS), which has since fallen into disuse and was in any case quite involved and complicated to do: deploying -git- is _much_ simpler!

Shot using OBS Studio (version 26.1.1; https://obsproject.com/download) and edited (eventually, and badly!) using Kdenlive (version 20.08.2; https://kdenlive.org/en/download/).

PS: Yes, I know that the regression model I ran at the end of the video isn’t econometrically ‘kosher’, as it were, but it really doesn’t matter!
